It is located approximately 25 kilometres from the centre of Quebec City.
The inhabited areas are located mainly along route 371 and along the Jacques-Cartier River.
Saint-Gabriel-de-Valcartier is located at the foothills of the magnificent Laurentians and has always been known for the courage, good will and determination of its inhabitants.
